Q: My service provider gives me 30 megabytes of space for my Web Site. If I use UltraCart, will it use much of that given space? Will I need to buy more server space?

A: Probably not. UltraCart doesn't take up any space on your site because it runs on our secure server, not yours. The only reason you would have to buy more "space," would be if you have a lot of items in your catalogue, and you use a lot of graphics to display them. Think of UltraCart as a virtual "Checkout Counter." It's small but efficient, and always there when your customers are ready to make a purchase.

Q. If UltraCart runs on your server and not mine, won't that make things look a little unprofessional when people jump from my site to view their shopping cart or add something to it?

A. Not at all. The graphic scheme of UltraCart is customizable to seamlessly integrate with your existing Web Site. Most people will never realize they're on a different server unless they happen to notice that the little icon at the bottom of their browser shows that everything is secure.

Q. I use Microsoft FrontPage to develop and maintain my Web Site. Will I be able to use the UltraCart system?

A. Yes. You can use FrontPage, Adobe Page Mill, Symantec Visual Page or any other Web Site/HTML editor for that matter. If you can cut and paste, you can use UltraCart.

Q. Where can I get an instruction manual for UltraCart?

Q. Who does the credit card verification?

A. Credit card verification is done using standard processing mechanisms (i.e. terminals, software, or web interfaced gateways). Once an order is received, the information can be retrieved from the UltraCart administration web site (securely) and process it. UltraCart only provides the shopping cart functionality to your web site and an elegant way of handling the information provided by customers.

Q. Is there a charge per transaction above the monthly cost?

A. There is no charge above the monthly fees. We feel our customers are sick and tired of per transaction fees and percentages eating away their profits in an unpredictable fashion. Merchants always know the price plan of their service by checking the Service Plan page located under the Configuration Menu.
